Responsibilities

This lead mammography tech is responsible for the daily clinical and administrative operations of the mammography department, assisting in the delivery of personalized, professional, and quality patient care. Responsibilities include performing all Mammography examinations, transporting patients, preparing departmental paperwork, answering phones, scheduling, managing patient information in PACS and HIS, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least 2 years of experience as a mammography technologist.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a General Medical Radiologic Technologist (GMRT).
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
