Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Mammography Tech for our Outpatient Imaging office in Germantown, MD, who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.


As a Mammography Technologist, you will:

  1. Perform mammography procedures on scheduled shifts and operate mammography equipment.
  2. Provide care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  3. Provide patient/family or caregiver education and counseling in recognition and solution of physical, emotional, and environmental health problems.
  4. Maintain open and positive communication with staff, physicians, and other departments.
  5. Instruct, supervise, and evaluate student technologists.
  6. Present a positive image to community and professional contacts.
  7. Promote professionalism within the department, hospital, and community; act as a role model.
  8. Demonstrate proficiency in performing all exams according to protocol; maintain the physical environment of the department in a clean, well-stocked, orderly manner.

Qualified candidates will possess:

  1. High School Diploma or GED required.
  2. Must be registered as a Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T./NMTCB.
  3. Licensed by the State of Maryland.
  4. Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  5. At least two years of experience in mammography required.
  6. Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
  7. Ability to input data into the computer and analyze data as requested.

Work Schedule: As needed evenings & weekends

Pay Range: $34.58 - $51.87

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.
