Job summary

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is seeking a Mammography Technologist for full-time daytime hours in outpatient imaging. You will perform screening and diagnostic exams, maintain MQSA compliance, and ensure patient comfort while coordinating with radiologists.

Required are 1+ year of experience, BLS/ARRT credentials, and knowledge of PACS and image quality standards; strong communication and teamwork are essential for this role.

Qualifications

1+ year of radiology imaging experience required.
Must maintain BLS, ARRRT and radiology licensure as applicable.
Ability to perform 2D and 3D mammography exams.

Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography with high image quality.
Document results in EMR/PACS and coordinate recalls or additional imaging.
Follow MQSA, FDA and ACR guidelines and safety protocols.
Collaborate with radiologists and breast imaging team on patient care.
