The Ohio State University is seeking a Mammography Technologist on a contingent/ intermittent schedule at the James | SSCBC Mammography division. The role involves performing mammography exams, needle localizations, and related diagnostic work to support breast cancer evaluation.

Ideal candidates will hold ARRT Radiography registration with current ODH licensure and will complete the advanced Mammography registry within 18 months of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography registration with current ODH licensure.
• Must have completed or be required to complete advanced registry in Mammography within 18 months of hire date.
• Previous mammography experience is preferred.

Scope of Position/Position Summary

The IRP-Mammography Technologist performs mammography exams, screening and diagnostic studies and needle localizations for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.

Minimum Education Required

2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Qualifications

A.R.R.T. Radiography registered with current ODH licensure. Individual must have completed or is required to complete advanced registry in Mammography within 18 months of hire date. Previous mammography experience is preferred.

Additional Information: Location: Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center (0874) Position Type: Intermittent Scheduled Hours: 0.2 Shift: First Shift Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
