The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography exams, including screening and diagnostic work, as well as needle localizations for diagnosis. The role also involves patient education and contributing to quality assessment activities within the division, under the Imaging Manager.

Requirements include ARRT Radiography registration with current ODH licensure and completing the advanced Mammography registry within 18 months of hire;

Scope of Position/Position Summary

The IRP-Mammography Technologist performs mammography exams, screening and diagnostic studies and needle localizations for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.

Minimum Education Required

2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Qualifications

A.R.R.T. Radiography registered with current ODH licensure. Individual must have completed or is required to complete advanced registry in Mammography within 18 months of hire date. Previous mammography experience is preferred.
