Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography exams, screen and diagnose, and localize needle procedures for diagnosis and treatment. The role includes patient education and quality assessments within the imaging division, under the Imaging Manager's direction.

Required qualifications include an Associate degree in Radiography, ARRT Radiography registration, and completion of advanced registry in Mammography within 18 months.

SCOPE/POSITION SUMMARY

The Mammography Technologist performs mammography exams, screening and diagnostic studies and needle localizations for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A.R.R.T. Radiography registered with current ODH licensure.
• Individual must have completed or is required to complete advanced registry in Mammography within 18 months of hire date.
• Previous mammography experience is preferred.

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
