Job summary

The Mammography Technologist at The Ohio State University’s James | SSCBC Mammography unit will perform mammography exams, including screening, diagnostic studies, and needle localizations, under the Imaging Manager. The role includes patient education and quality assessment tasks to support breast health services.

Minimum qualifications include ARRT Radiography registration and ODH licensure, with advanced Mammography registry to be completed within 18 months of hire.

SCOPE/POSITION SUMMARY

The Mammography Technologist performs mammography exams, screening and diagnostic studies and needle localizations for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. A.R.R.T. Radiography registered with current ODH licensure. Individual must have completed or is required to complete advanced registry in Mammography within 18 months of hire date. Previous mammography experience is preferred.
