Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology or graduate from AMA approved school.
• Experience: Clinical training at UTSW may be considered as experience.
• Licenses and Certifications: ARRT certification and Texas licensure required upon hire; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and ensures it is stocked for procedures.
• Checks equipment and notifies for repairs; responds to inquiries about procedures.
• Communicates shift issues with equipment or exams to staff.
• Engages in equitable distribution of departmental workloads.
• Assists with scheduling and coordinating exams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Performs quality control on assigned equipment and reports issues timely.
• Attends departmental and facility meetings/classes (minimum 90% attendance).
• Completes required courses/modules on time.
• Performs duties in the best interest of patients, personnel and the facility.

Education
