Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day-shift Mammography Tech (PRN) to deliver high-quality breast imaging services. You will support early detection of breast disease and work closely with radiologists and the health care team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity.

The role requires an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT Mammography certification, knowledge of mammography procedures and radiation safety, and strong communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.
  • ARRT Mammography certification required.
  • Knowledge of mammography procedures, breast anatomy, and radiation safety principles.
  • Skill in operating mammography and breast imaging equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy, professionalism, and patient confidentiality.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Job Requirements:


  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography.

  • Knowledge of mammography procedures, breast anatomy, and radiation safety principles.

  • Skill in operating mammography and breast imaging equipment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members.

  • Ability to maintain accuracy, professionalism, and patient confidentiality.

  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.


Preferred Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.

  • 3+ years of mammography experience in a healthcare setting.

  • Certification in digital breast tomosynthesis.

  • Knowledge of advanced breast imaging technologies and workflows.

  • Skill in supporting breast interventional procedures.

  • Ability to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient experience goals.
