Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Breast Care Center Mammography Technician for day shift, full-time. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography, and bone density exams, under radiologist supervision.

Operate digital and 3D tomosynthesis systems, conduct MQSA QA/QC tests, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure quality patient care. ARRT radiography registration is required within one year of employment.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiography registration required within one year of employment.
• Technical/Associate degree in radiography required.
• Mammography registration within one year of employment preferred (bone density also preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Perform bone density exams.
• Perform complex procedures at the discretion of the radiologist.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control tests in accordance with MQSA regulations.
• Operate digital and 3D tomosynthesis mammography machines.
• Troubleshoot mammography equipment and processors.

Job Requirements:

• Technical/Associate degree in radiography
• Registration through ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in radiography
• Registration through ARRT in mammography required within one year of employment

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Registration through ARRT in bone density
• 1 year of mammography experience
