Job summary

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring image quality and patient safety. You will prepare patients, operate equipment, and collaborate with radiologists for interpretation.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Mammography Technologist performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures that may apply ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology in patients. Regulates the equipment used to expose the various image receptors, completes the appropriate paperwork, and computer applications. Organizes and prepares the images for interpretation by the radiologist. Operates equipment safely and maintains ALARA standards while performing all types of procedures within the scope of the Mammographers practice. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, medical staff.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-M) Mammography
