Job Summary and Qualifications

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Performs duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying computerized ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology, specifically mammography and bone densitometry. Regulates the equipment used to expose the radiographic film, develops and organizes films. Operates equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of procedures. Provides patient care during procedures. Performs all necessary quality control and assurance functions established with the M.Q.S.A. and maintains all records accordingly. As Lead, takes full responsibility for the accreditation of the facility through the FDA and the ACR.
