Job summary

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a radiologist, with independent judgement and accountability in designated areas. Mammography experience is preferred, and the Mammo Registry must be achieved within 6 months of hire, alongside Florida General Radiographer license and ARRT (R).

Job Summary & Qualifications

Under the direction of a radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiating for radiographic examinations. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Qualifications:

• Vocational / Technical Education.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging.
• 1 to 3 years of experience.
• 1 year experience in performing Mammography preferred.
• Florida General Radiographer License and ARRT (R).
• Mammo Registry within 6 months of hire.
