Hours: Full Time (M-F, 9 am to 5:30 pm)

A Day In The Life Of a Mammography Technologist

• Understand, promote, and demonstrate the Solis Way
• Practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure techniques
• Communicate effectively with patients about procedures and educate women on the importance of regular mammography for breast health
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and staff in individual and small group settings
• Follow detailed instructions accurately
• Maintain a patient-first focus with outstanding customer service skills
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and current ARRT certification in Radiography
• ARRT advanced certification in mammography with clinical experience documentation or MQSA qualification and registry eligibility
• Current continuing education and experience as required by MQSA and ARRT
• High School Diploma; Associate's degree preferred
• Non-restricted licensure in the state of work
• Knowledge of database software and RIS/PACS is preferred
• Two years of mammography experience preferred
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred
• Prior quality control experience is preferred
• Proficiency in medical terminology
• Ability to stand for long periods
