Job Summary and Qualifications

The Mammography Technologist performs mammographic exams for diagnosing breast cancer and other breast diseases, and educates patients for early detection.

Qualifications Needed:

• Education: Completion of formal Radiologic Technologist training in an AMA-approved school.
• Experience: Minimum one year in Diagnostic Radiology; one year as a mammography technologist preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: BLS certification required; current registration with ARRT (R), (M); annual renewal with 24 hours of continuing education bi-annually, including at least 12 Mammography, 3 Stereotactics, and 1 digital Mammography exams; must complete 240 exams annually; registered with New Hampshire Board of Medical Technicians.
