Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Peoria, IL seeks a Mammography Technician to perform all mammography procedures under the supervision of a licensed practitioner, ensuring high-quality diagnositc imaging and patient safety.

The role requires completion of a radiography program and ARRT certification, with Mammography credential within 18 months, plus IEMA licensure and BLS. Excellent patient care and attention to detail are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Completion of a radiography program with associated certificate or degree.
• ARRT Radiography(R) certification.
• ARRT Mammography(M) within 18 months of hire date.
• IEMA licensure as a registered radiologic technologist.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform all mammography procedures under general supervision of a licensed practitioner.
• Ensure compliance with American College of Radiology and Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA).
• Assist with patient positioning, safety, and imaging data accuracy.

Expected Pay

Expected pay for this position is $33.85 - $44.30/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

The Mammography Tech performs all mammography procedures while under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner for the purposes of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders at a technical level not requiring constant supervision and within the scope of their license and according to established standards and practices of the American College of Radiology and Mammography Quality Standards Act.
