Job summary

Women's Imaging Specialists LLC in Peachtree Corners, GA is seeking a full-time Mammography Technologist for daytime, weekday work. The role focuses on 2D and 3D mammography with tomosynthesis, providing compassionate breast health education, and maintaining high-quality QC standards.

Candidates must be ARRT (R)(M) registered with a current state license and BLS/CPR. Minimum 1 year of mammography experience and strong MQSA/ACR knowledge required.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(M) registration with current state license and BLS/CPR.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Mammography Technologist performing screening & diagnostic exams.
• Strong MQSA and ACR guideline knowledge; QC/QA familiarity.
• Excellent patient communication; ability to keep exams calm and supportive.
• RIS/PACS documentation and EMR navigation skills.
• Flexibility, teamwork, and ethical professional conduct.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality 2D & 3D screening and diagnostic mammograms following MQSA and ACR guidelines.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and breast health education before, during, and after exams.
• Document patient assessment, history, and risk factors accurately in RIS/PACS.
• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly QC to ensure optimal image quality and compliance.
• Maintain a safe, clean exam room and practice radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to ensure continuity of care.
• Adapt to the unique needs of a fast-paced outpatient center while maximizing productivity.
