Job summary

Women’s Imaging Specialists in Cumming, GA, is seeking a Mammography Technologist for full-time, in-person work. You will perform high-quality 2D and 3D screening and diagnostic mammograms, educating patients on breast health and ensuring comfort during exams.

The role emphasizes MQSA/ACR compliance, accurate documentation in RIS/PACS, and daily QC to maintain image quality. ARRT (R)(M) registration, state license, and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT (R) (M) registered and hold a current state license.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• 1+ year experience performing screening and diagnostic mammography.

What you’ll do:

• Perform high-quality 2D & 3D screening and diagnostic mammograms following MQSA and ACR guidelines
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and breast health education before, during, and after exams
• Document patient assessment, history, and risk factors accurately in RIS/PACS
• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly QC to ensure optimal image quality and compliance
• Maintain a safe, clean exam room and practice radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique
• Collaborate with radiologists and sonographers to ensure continuity of care
• Adapt to the unique needs of a fast-paced outpatient center while maximizing productivity

What you bring:
