Job summary

Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography for evening shifts. You will operate mammography equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The role requires ARRT-M or equivalent certification plans within 1 year, with an emphasis on accurate imaging and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in medical imaging is required.
• Associate's Degree in a related field is preferred.
• ARRT-M Mammography certification is preferred and required within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and related devices.
• Position patients and use immobilization as needed.
• Select appropriate exposure factors for accurate imaging.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and obtain additional views as needed.
• Prepare and set up medical supplies using aseptic techniques; explain procedures to patients.
