Qualifications

• Registered with ARRT in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M); current registration required.
• Certified by the State of Texas – MRT.
• CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized mammography, stereotactic biopsy, and bone densitometry equipment.
• Perform direct patient care and a variety of technical procedures to produce diagnostic images for breast diseases and osteoporosis evaluation.
• Assist radiologists with invasive procedures, document procedures, and provide first aid if needed.
• Coordinate with surgical teams, scheduling, and staff for efficient procedure management.
• Maintain equipment quality control, cleanliness, and documentation per regulations.
• Train new personnel and students, and assist in report dissemination to physicians and patients.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (preferred).
• Registered with ARRT in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M); current registration required.
• Certified by the State of Texas – MRT.
• CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a radiologic technologist.
