Essentia Health in Grand Rapids, MN seeks a Radiologic Technologist to administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, and to support radiologists in interventional biopsy procedures.

The role requires ARRT certification and Mammography certification within 24 months if not already certified; responsibilities include independent operation of radiographic equipment to deliver high-quality images for physicians.

In this role you will get too:

Responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to patients of all ages for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, and/or research purposes, which utilize advanced aspects of computer assisted, digital image recording, and analysis systems. The technologist assists radiologists with interventional biopsy procedures. This position is also responsible for the independent operation of radiographic equipment and for providing high quality diagnostic images to the radiologist and referring physicians.

Education Qualifications:

Education Requirement:

• Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Radiography program

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)


• Mammography certification required within 24 months of hire if not currently certified

West Market:

• If North Dakota, must have current license on North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire
