Job summary

Essentia Health Grand Rapids Clinic is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to administer ionizing radiation for imaging and procedures, while supporting radiologists during interventional biopsies. You will operate radiographic equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images for physicians.

Responsibilities include independent equipment operation, collaboration with clinicians, and maintaining compliance with certification timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA Radiography program.
• ARRT certification required.
• Mammography certification within 24 months of hire if not currently certified.

In this role you will get to:
Responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to patients of all ages for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, and/or research purposes, which utilize advanced aspects of computer assisted, digital image recording, and analysis systems. The technologist assists radiologists with interventional biopsy procedures. This position is also responsible for the independent operation of radiographic equipment and for providing high quality diagnostic images to the radiologist and referring physicians.Education Qualifications:

Education Requirement:

• Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Radiography program

Licensure/CertificationQualifications:

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Mammography certification required within 24 months of hire if not currently certified

West Market:

• If North Dakota, must have current license on North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire
