Job summary

Essentia Health in Grand Rapids, MN is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and to assist radiologists with interventional biopsies. You will independently operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for radiologists and physicians.

The role requires ARRT certification, with Mammography certification within 24 months of hire if not already certified, and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Radiography program.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Mammography certification required within 24 months of hire if not currently certified.

Responsibilities

In this role you will get too:
Responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to patients of all ages for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, and/or research purposes, which utilize advanced aspects of computer assisted, digital image recording, and analysis systems. The technologist assists radiologists with interventional biopsy procedures. This position is also responsible for the independent operation of radiographic equipment and for providing high quality diagnostic images to the radiologist and referring physicians.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
