Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to support a client healthcare facility in Chelmsford, MA. The role runs on a contract basis with a 6+ month length, offering pay between $50 and $54 per hour and a schedule of Mon, Tue and Wed from 7:30am to 6:00pm.

Responsibilities include performing screening and diagnostic mammography, obtaining high-quality images, and maintaining regulatory compliance. A MA RCP license in Mammography and an Associate or Bachelor's degree are required.

Job Details:

Schedule: Mon, Tue and Wed 7.30am- 6 pm

Location: Chelmsford, MA

Job Type: Contract

Contract Length: 6+ months

Pay Range: $50/hr to $54/hr* (Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.)

Duties:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures according to established protocols.
• Obtain high-quality mammographic images while ensuring proper patient positioning and comfort.
• Review images for technical quality and ensure appropriate imaging views are obtained.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
• Accurately document patient information, procedures, and imaging results in the appropriate systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients and explain procedures before and during examinations.
• Maintain and operate mammography equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment.
