Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Mammography Technologist to support a medical facility in Dedham, MA 02026. This is a 3+ month contract assignment with potential conversion to permanent based on performance. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Pay range is $50–$54/hr on a W-2 without benefits. Responsibilities include high-quality digital mammograms, adherence to exam protocols, clear patient communication, safety practices, image quality evaluation, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Course in imaging technology approved by the ARRT.
• Current ARRT certification and board certified or board eligible in Mammography (must obtain certification within one year of hire).

• Consistently performs high-quality digital mammograms.
• Follows established protocols based on patient needs and exam order.
• Explains procedures and monitors patient safety and comfort during the exam.
• Uses radiation safety measures to comply with regulations and protect patients and staff.

Pride Health is hiring a Mammography Technologist to support our client’s medical facility in Dedham, MA 02026. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Specific Duties

• Consistently performs high-quality digital mammograms
• Follows established protocols based on the needs of the individual patient and ordered exam
• Explains procedures and observes patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam
• Uses radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and ensure the safety of patients and staff
• Evaluates images for technical quality
• Maintains the cleanliness of the mammography machine and associated equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Completion of a course in imaging technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and board certified or board eligible in Mammography (must obtain certification within one year of hire)

Preferred Education. Experience & Skills

• MA state Radiation control license in Mammography
• At least one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Experience in multiple specialities
