Job Summary

Under supervision, complete requirements to obtain Mammography licensure, then independently perform screening mammography, ensuring image quality per regulations and departmental guidelines. Work with training Mammographers and cover other sites as needed to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

1. Train to qualify and obtain active Mammography licensure.
2. Confirm patient identity and exam details, explain procedures, and ensure patient understanding and compliance.
3. Adjust equipment settings for all exams.
4. Perform screening mammography according to protocols and radiologist requests.
5. Ensure correct labeling and successful transmission of images to PACS.
6. Adhere to departmental and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• MA State Radiologic Technology License required.
• ARRT Certification required.
• Associate's degree in medical imaging required.
• ARRT(M) and Mammography license within 1 year preferred.
• 1 year mammography experience preferred.

Additional Details

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00; rotating Saturdays 7:00-3:30.
• Location: 15 Parkman Street, onsite.
• Hours: 40 per week.
• Employment Type: Full-time, regular.
• Shift: Day shift in the US.
