Job summary

RadNet in California is seeking candidates for a trainee mammography technologist role designed to complete a 40-hour mammography training course with 8 additional hours in digital mammography. The program includes hands-on mammography training to prepare for the ARRT mammography registry and culminates in becoming a full-time technologist with RadNet once certified.

You'll complete 8 hours of tomosynthesis training, with RadNet reimbursing costs, and you'll pass the Mammography Licensing Exam.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Interest and ability to learn advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and related procedures.
• Resilient, adaptable and compassionate demeanor with patients.
• Ability to act quickly in emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8 hours of digital mammography training (reimbursed by RadNet).
• Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training (reimbursed by RadNet).
• Receive hands-on mammography training to prepare for ARRT mammography registry.
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Safeguard onsite medications and patient information per policy.
