Job summary

RadNet in California is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee to join our patient-centered radiology team. You will start with a structured training program, gain hands-on experience in mammography, and prepare for the ARRT mammography registry.

Qualifications

• Must have current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Interest and ability to learn Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and other advanced radiology procedures.
• Calm, compassionate, and professional demeanor in patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 40-hour mammography training with reimbursement.
• Complete 8 hours training in Tomosynthesis.
• Hands-on mammography training for ARRT registry.
• Pass Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet upon certification.
• Participate in projects/meetings and other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguard onsite medications per policies.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
