Job summary
RadNet is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee in New Jersey to join a patient-focused radiology team. The program includes a 40-hour mammography training course with 8 hours of digital mammography training reimbursed by RadNet, plus 8 hours of tomosynthesis training.
You will prepare for the ARRT mammography registry and aim to become a full-time technologist after certification. You will be part of a professional, compassionate team focused on safe, accurate imaging and outstanding
Qualifications
- Current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Willingness to learn Tomosynthesis, biopsies and related radiology procedures.
- Calm, compassionate, and professional patient interactions.
Responsibilities
- Complete 40-hour Mammography Training Course with 8 hours in digital mammography (reimbursed).
- Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training (reimbursed).
- Receive hands-on mammography training to prepare for ARRT mammography registry.
- Pass Mammography Licensing Exam and become a full-time RadNet Mammography Technologist.
- Participate in projects/meetings and assist management as assigned.
