Akumin, a leading provider of outpatient radiology and oncology services, is seeking a mammography technologist or trainee for our Danbury, CT and Mount Kisco, NY facilities. The role is full-time, with on-site responsibilities and on-the-job MRI training under supervision of a registered technologist.

The trainee track is for certified X-Ray Technologists who wish to specialize in Mammography. Candidates should have ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS certification, a radiology license if required, CPR, and a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Radiology schooling required.
• Certified by ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS.
• State Radiologic Technologist license, if applicable.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license, if applicable.
• Willing to train in Mammography for trainee role.
• Ability to work at multiple locations.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-screen personnel before entering magnet room.
• Scan and document patients under supervision.
• Complete documentation for patient files per policy and Joint Commission.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
