Akumin is hiring for a mammography technologist or mammography technologist trainee at facilities in Danbury, CT and Mount Kisco, NY. The role involves pre-screening for safety, performing mammography under supervision, and documenting patient files according to policy and Joint Commission standards.

Requirements include ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS certification, radiology schooling, CPR, and a state license if applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a Radiology School.
• Certified by ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS.
• State issued Radiologic Technologist License, if applicable.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Pre-screen personnel before entering the magnet room for safety.
• Scan and document patients under supervision to meet Akumin requirements.
• Complete documentation for patient files per policy and Joint Commission standards.
• Perform other duties as needed.
