RadNet is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee in Largo, MD. You will undergo comprehensive training to become a certified mammography technologist, supporting patient care and clinical workflows in a fast-paced radiology setting.

The role emphasizes learning Tomosynthesis, completing required licensing, and transitioning to a full-time technologist after certification. RadNet offers training reimbursements and strong growth opportunities within a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Interest and ability to learn Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures.
• Calm, compassionate demeanor for anxious patients.
• Ability to act quickly in emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 40-hour Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8 hours in digital mammography (RadNet reimbursement).
• Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training (RadNet reimbursement).
• Receive hands-on mammography training in preparation for ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects/meetings and other duties assigned by management.
• Safeguard onsite medications per policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
