RadNet, Inc. seeks a Mammography Technologist Trainee in New York. You will undergo comprehensive training, and cross-train into mammography while preparing for ARRT certification. A $7,500 sign-on bonus or student loan payment plan is offered, with reimbursement for training and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have NYDOH License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Willingness to learn mammography, tomosynthesis, and related procedures.
• Strong patient-care and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 40-hour Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included (RadNet will reimburse).
• Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis (RadNet will reimburse).
• Career Advancement Opportunity to cross-train into mammography.
• Be provided hands-on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

You Will:

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• A current NYDOH License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• The keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures.
• Are resilient, adaptable and compassionate. Patients can be nervous about their exams; we look to you to provide a calm and friendly demeanor, and provide a professional and positive healthcare delivery experience.
• Be quick thinking and have the ability to take appropriate action on-the-fly should an emergent situation arise.

Pay Range: $38 - $49.00 per hour
