RadNet, Inc. in Nutley, NJ seeks a Mammography Technologist Trainee to start a structured training track leading to certification and full-time technologist status.

The role includes reimbursement for a Mammography Training Course and Tomosynthesis training, plus hands-on experience and exam preparation in a supportive, team-focused environment. You will train across mammography procedures, gain ARRT licensing, and join a professional team dedicated to high-quality patient care in a radiology

Qualifications

• A current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• Interest and ability to learn advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis and biopsies.
• Resilient, adaptable and compassionate, with a professional demeanor for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 40-hour Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8 hours of digital mammography training (RadNet reimbursement).
• Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training (RadNet reimbursement).
• Receive hands-on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects/meetings and other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguard onsite medications per company policy and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate professional behavior towards patients and coworkers.

You Will:

• Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Be provided hands-on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguards any onsite medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• A current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• The keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures.
• Are resilient, adaptable and compassionate. Patients can be nervous about their exams; we look to you to provide a calm and friendly demeanor and provide a professional and positive healthcare delivery experience.
• Be quick thinking and have the ability to take appropriate action on-the-fly should an emergent situation arise.
