Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee in Santa Ana, CA. This role includes completing a 40-hour Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8 hours of digital mammography training, and 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training, with reimbursements provided.

The program prepares you for the ARRT mammography registry, licensing exam, and potential transition to a full-time mammography technologist. A sign-on bonus is offered and other benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• BLS certification required through American Heart Association.
• Ability to learn advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis and biopsies.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 40-hour Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8 hours of digital mammography training (RadNet will reimburse).
• Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training (RadNet will reimburse).
• Receive hands-on mammography training in preparation for ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the Mammography Licensing Exam and become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet upon certification.
• Participate in projects/meetings and assist management as needed.
• Safely handle onsite medications and protect patient information according to policy.

You Will

• Complete a 40‑hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8‑hours of training in digital mammography included (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Complete 8‑hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Be provided hands‑on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Become a full‑time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguards any onsite medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.

Role

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• A current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• The keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures.
• Are resilient, adaptable and compassionate. Patients can be nervous about their exams; we look to you to provide a calm and friendly demeanor and provide a professional and positive healthcare delivery experience.
• Be quick thinking and have the ability to take appropriate action on‑the‑fly should an emergent situation arise.

Pay Range: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
