Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee in New York. The role offers a structured path from trainee to full technologist, with comprehensive training in digital mammography and tomosynthesis, reimbursed by RadNet.

You will work toward ARRT mammography registry certification and join a team focused on patient care. The position requires NYDOH Diagnostic Radiologic Technology licensure, ARRT(R) certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Must have a NYDOH License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 40-hour Mammography Training Course with 8 hours of digital mammography training (RadNet will reimburse).
• Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training (RadNet will reimburse).
• Cross-train into mammography and advance within the team.
• Receive hands-on training in mammography to prepare for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet upon certification.
• Participate in projects/meetings and complete tasks assigned by management.

You Will:

• Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Career Advancement Opportunity Available for a dedicated and caring professional to cross-train into mammography.
• Be provided hands-on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• A current NYDOH License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
