Job summary

Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield, Maine is seeking a Radiographer to perform radiologic and CT examinations in accordance with state and federal safety regulations. This PRN, as-needed role covers radiography, fluoroscopy, and CT scanning, requires ARRT certification and Maine radiology licensure, and offers a compensation range of $26.99–$41.42 per hour.

Qualifications

ARRT certification required for Radiographer role.
State of Maine radiology license required.
Certificate in Radiology acceptable with ARRT credentials and Maine license.

Responsibilities

Performs radiographic, fluoroscopic, and CT scanning per department protocols.
Prepares and administers contrast per department protocols/radiologist guidance.
Proficient in PACS functions and assists others as needed.
Prepares and educates patients for procedures.
Maintains equipment in good working condition and reports issues.
Performs phone/clerical/office duties as necessary within the department.
Ensures proper order is in place for patient imaging and obtains correct orders when changes are required.
Other duties as assigned.
