Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be able to perform Mammography independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.
• Continuing CEUs as required by MQSA or state rules.

Responsibilities

• Explain and prepare patients for Mammography imaging procedures.
• Perform routine and advanced Mammography imaging with supervision as needed.
• Adjust scan parameters and use dose-reduction techniques.
• Maintain RIS patient records and adhere to safety regulations.
• Keep imaging area clean and compliant with accreditation requirements.
• Assist with imaging protocol manuals and software updates.
