Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Mammography Tech to perform routine and diagnostic mammography under the direction of a Radiologist. This PRN, on-site role may include varied scheduling and requires independent judgement to obtain high-quality radiologic images.

Candidates must have AMA-accredited radiologic technology education, ARRT and Florida licensure in Radiology and Mammography, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• AMA accredited program completed.
• Minimum 3 years in all areas of mammography including stereotactic biopsy and needle localization.
• ARRT-registered and Florida Radiation Control licensure in Radiology and Mammography; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and diagnostic mammography under Radiologist supervision.
• Assist Radiologist during minimally invasive biopsy procedures.
• Maintain QC standards and documentation; other duties as assigned.
