Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL seeks a Mammography Tech per diem. Under the direction of a Radiologist, you will perform routine and diagnostic mammography at a high technical level, assist during minimally invasive biopsy procedures, and maintain QC standards.

Qualifications include AMA‑accredited Radiologic Technology program, a minimum of 3 years of mammography experience including stereotactic biopsy, ARRT and Florida license, strong communication skills, and BLS

Qualifications

• AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum three (3) years experience in all areas of mammography including stereotactic biopsy.
• Registered by and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M).
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills; MQSA compliance.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and diagnostic mammography at a high technical level under Radiologist supervision.
• Assist the Radiologist during minimally invasive biopsy procedures.
• Maintain Quality Control standards and documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
