Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a temporary/PRN role to operate mammography scanners, position patients, and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging with patient-centered service.

The role requires ARRT registration, a valid radiologic license in the state, CPR certification, and continuing education credits. This is a varied-shift on-site assignment within a supportive radiology team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned mammography scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and prep patients, ensuring correct identification.
• Position patients for accurate mammography imaging with patient comfort in mind.
• Adjust imaging parameters and apply dose-reduction techniques.
• Follow physician orders, maintain safety, and document patient records in RIS.
• Keep work area clean and equipment well-maintained.
• Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
• Support department needs and training of new staff.
