Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a part-time Mammography-focused role in the Atlanta area. The position requires flexible hours, patient-centered care, and accurate imaging across modalities with adherence to safety and documentation standards.

You will collaborate with the Mammography Department to ensure high-quality studies, maintain equipment and participate in ongoing training and education as part of Wellstar’s commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist including Mammography.
• Licenses: ARRT Mammography, ARRT Radiography, BLS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic exams per department procedures and age-specific guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety, proper identification, and correct marker usage.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment; ensure QC and calibration.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent when required.
• Maintain accuracy in documentation and adherence to regulations.
