Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a part-time first shift in Libertyville. The role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, bone density testing, and patient education in a patient-centered Breast Imaging environment.

The position requires MQSA-compliant practice, ARRT registration, and 1–2 years of pertinent radiologic experience. Benefits begin day one, with tuition reimbursement and loan forgiveness options available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA Approved Program in Radiologic Technology.
• 1–2 years of experience as Radiologic Technologist or sonographer.
• 40 hours of specialized training and continuing education in mammography.
• Knowledge of breast anatomy.
• Ability to recognize fear or anxiety in patients.
• Understand needs and behaviors of different age groups.

Responsibilities

• Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms and bone density testing per MQSA guidelines.
• Document patient images and history accurately in RIS/Penrad.
• Position breast to obtain standard and alternative views; adjust technique as needed.
• Provide pre/post-procedure education; ensure patient comfort and safety.
