Job summary

Trinity Health in Idaho seeks a part-time Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening mammography procedures in the Medical Imaging department, Idaho only.

The role requires ARRT registration, the Mammography Registry within 12 months, 3–5 years radiology experience, and BLS certification if not ACLS/PALS. Driving privileges and strong patient communication are essential to support high-quality exams.

Qualifications

• Must obtain ARRT Mammography Registry within 12 months.
• 3–5 years radiology experience; prior mammography preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at hire if not ACLS/PALS.
• Must have valid drivers license and driving privileges.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and/or screening mammography procedures.
• Conduct clinical breast examinations as required.
• Maintain patient and procedure documentation.
• Maintain equipment and instrument knowledge for high-quality exams.
• Communicate effectively with patients of varying ages and mental capacities.

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift

Provides skills and knowledge necessary to perform mammography procedures and clinical breast examinations in the diagnostic and/or screening mammography areas of Medical Imaging in Idaho only. Maintain patient and procedure documentation. Maintains equipment and instrument knowledge pertinent to high quality exams. Provides effective internal and external patient communication consistent with age and mental capacity.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• 2. Must obtain Mammography registry through ARRT within 1 year of hire.
• 3. Three to five years of radiology experience required. Previous mammography experience preferred.
• 4. Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS or as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
• 5. Must have active driving privileges. If, during the course of employment, driving privileges change or colleague receives a driving citation, the colleague is required to notify their supervisor and/or HR.
