Saint Alphonsus in Idaho seeks a part-time Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening mammography and clinical breast exams. The role involves patient communication, documentation, and equipment knowledge to ensure high-quality exams.
Day shift with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care. Requirements include ARRT registration, with mammography registry within 1 year, plus 3–5 years radiology experience and BLS certification.
Provides skills and knowledge necessary to perform mammography procedures and clinical breast examinations in the diagnostic and/or screening mammography areas of Medical Imaging in Idaho only. Maintain patient and procedure documentation. Maintains equipment and instrument knowledge pertinent to high quality exams. Provides effective internal and external patient communication consistent with age and mental capacity.
