Geisinger is seeking a qualified radiologic technologist specializing in mammography to join their dedicated team in Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will independently operate all mammography units and perform various examinations while ensuring quality control procedures.
This position requires a graduate from a Radiologic Technology program and a commitment to patient care and satisfaction. Geisinger offers comprehensive healthcare benefits for both full-time and part-time positions from day one.
Plans, provides and evaluates mammographic and general radiological procedures and techniques; participates in the training of new employees and students as assigned; meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned clinical area. Works within the guidelines and requirements of the Mammography Quality Standards Act. Participates in all regulatory requirements related to the section. Performs duties to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient satisfaction.
Education: Graduate from Specialty Training Program‑Radiologic Technology (Required), Bachelor’s Degree‑Related Field of Study (Preferred)
Experience: Minimum of 1 year‑related work experience (Preferred)
Certification(s) and License(s): Basic Life Support Certification – Default Issuing Body; Radiography (R) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
