Job summary

Northside Hospital in Marietta, GA, seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to perform stereotactic biopsy procedures and related QC activities. You will conduct a full range of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms, with autonomy and appropriate supervision.

Requirements include ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography and BLS. Prior stereotactic procedure experience and QC in mammography are preferred to support the

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered by the ARRT as Radiologic Technologist with Radiography and Mammography (R.T.(R)(M)).
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and QC specific to mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Qualifications

• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Preferred

• One (1) year of experience in mammography.
• One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or QC specific to mammography.
• Experience in a clinical research setting.
