Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience as a Mammography Technologist is required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) - ARRT is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and provide patient care across age groups.

Responsibilities

The Mammography Technologist performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients. The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate. Mammography Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Part of a Piedmont internal agency pool that is used to fill critical and/or urgent staffing needs through designated assignments at Piedmont hospitals ("Assignment").
