The Fayette Chamber of Commerce is seeking an experienced MRI Tech to join Piedmont Healthcare's First Call Staffing Solutions. This position offers flexibility and competitive pay while providing essential diagnostic services.

Qualified candidates will have graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and hold certifications in Radiography and BLS. The role involves working in diverse environments and providing patient care across all age groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• 2 years of work experience as an MRI Technologist required.
• BLS certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations under the guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal to geriatrics.
• Utilize MRI technology to assist physicians in the diagnosis of diseases.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. You will be part of a Piedmont internal agency pool that is used to fill critical and/or urgent staffing needs through designated assignments at Piedmont hospitals.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital‑based training program. (Required)

Work Experience

• 2 years of work experience as an MRI Technologist. (Required)

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R). (Required)
• BLS certified. (Required)
