Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Olympia Fields Hospital in Illinois seeks a Mammographer in Imaging for part-time days. You will perform specialized radiographic procedures, support radiologists, and participate in direct patient care while upholding safety and quality standards.

Candidates must hold ARRT certification, mammography certification, state licensure, BCLS, and experience with HIS/RIS; travel to imaging facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Advanced certification in the field of Mammography.
• Current experience as a radiology technologist.
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.
• Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice.
• Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Director of Radiology Services, the Mammographer actively participates in the performance of specialized radiographic imaging procedures which assist the radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders. The Mammographer will participate in direct patient care, facility quality and safety initiatives as well as local and federal regulations. Assist with complex and sensitive patient and patient family issues. Ensures quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.2. Current ARRT certification.
